If you encounter an error while attempting to link your Numa card to your PayPal account, here are some potential reasons and solutions:
Insufficient funds
When linking your Numa card to your PayPal account, a $1 USD (or equivalent currency) authorization charge is initiated by PayPal to verify card activity. Please ensure that your card has sufficient funds to cover this authorization charge. To be safe, we recommend adding more than $1 to your card balance.
Card Settings
Check your Numa card settings in the app. Ensure your card is active and not frozen, and confirm that there is no limit amount set on your card or that you have not exceeded any preset limits.
Incorrect Card Information
You entered inaccurate details during linking. Please double-check and correct your card information before attempting to proceed.
Card linked to another PayPal account
The same card can only be linked to one PayPal account at a time. Remove the card from your PayPal account it's currently linked to. If linked to an older account you no longer use, consider closing your newer account and using the older one or contact PayPal's customer support.
⚠️ Note: If you believe your Numa card was used and linked without your knowledge, please contact us and PayPal immediately.
Wrong CVV code
If you entered the Card Verification Value (CVV) incorrectly 3 times, please contact PayPal's customer support to provide additional information.
If none of the reasons listed apply to your issue, and you have followed all the steps correctly, please contact us for further support. Our team is here to assist you!
